How to Add a Student to Your Class

Log in to your ANGEL account ! ( How to log in)                     [ E&H ANGEL Reference Resources ]

Click on the course to which you want to add a student ( If you don't see your course, click here)

Once you are in that course, follow the instructions below.

Click on the "Manage" tab at the top of the screen.

 

Then click on the "Roster" link.

Click on the "Add a User" item  

You will be adding a student who already has an account in the E&H Angel system. Enter their last name in the "Account Search" box and click search.

If you cannot find this student with this Search, you or the student should contact the ANGEL administrator (Harry Baya) to handle this.

 
In this example the name "green" was entered.  
In this example this brought up four students and we selected the second one by clicking on the "Select" button.  

This brings up the Enrollment Settings screen. We recommend accepting the default settings.

You would only check "Hidden" if you did not want the other students in this course to be able to see the name and e-mail address of this student.

Some instructors "hide" all thier students from each other.

 
That does it! This process allows you to add a student to your class. You may also have noticed that the choices after you click on "Edit Roster" would allow you to delete a student from you class.

How to drop a user !

Use the same procedures as above to get into the Roster. You will the see the names currently enrolled in the ANGEL course.

 

You can clikc on the "delete" button to delete any individual.
